- How did you get involved in luge sport?

My mom worked at the track and hag arranged for me to participate in summer camp with Ingrīda Amantova.

Mihails Arhipovs.


- Sled construction: do you build them yourself? Who taught you to build them?

My sled is built by Mārtiņš Rubenis, Kaspars Dumpis, Sandris Bērziņš. These are the people I learn from and help them with things I know, but before competitions I prepare the sled by myslef. 

- Your favorite ice track?

PyeongChang

- What inspires you?

Nature, travelling, people, places, things and anything is around me- inspires me.

- Your favorite place on Earth?

Where I am now.

- What is your motivation?

Endless desire to improve and develop.

- What do you wish to new luge athletes and youth in general?

Listen to your heart, do what you like and do it with giving it all.
